The Pasca Lab within the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences in Stanford University’s School of Medicine is seeking a Laboratory Services Manager 1 to maintain the laboratory facilities and supervise staff supporting the operations of one or more complex research and teaching facilities. This position will entail general organization of the lab, assisting with the oversight of full time and part time research staff, coordinating wet lab data collection, routine audits and inspections of the inventory, and insuring compliance and safety of research studies and assisting with the overall efficiency and well-being of the lab. The Lab Manager will have prior experience with experimenting with cell culture, mycoplasma testing, DNA and RNA isolation, virus preparation, analysis of research data (imaging, RT-PCR, etc) as they may be required to assist in lab experiments.

The expected pay range for this position is $82,000 to $94,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
